Heavy Metal Academy
Trained heavy equipment operators and diesel mechanics are in extremely high demand. Heavy Metal Rodeo is proud to offer Heavy Metal Academy, an equipment operator program for both adults and students. Our programs are affordable, self-paced and individually scheduled with no set class start dates/times. We offer these programs for single individuals or can accommodate groups. Our programs are meant for participants looking to get a jump-start into the trades or need a refresher on the operation. We are not looking to replace actual training and certification schools, rather we focus on safely providing the participant quality stick-time in a safe and supervised environment.
Lastly, we have partnered with Hard Hat Training which offers high quality, OSHA-compliant training tools for all types of heavy equipment. Their curriculum is completed online but built into our program. Combined with our equipment courses, we provide an encompassing program to help start your journey on the right foot.
Equipment Courses
(Excavator – Bulldozer – Wheel Loader – Mini Excavator)
– Partnered with Hard Hat Training (hardhattraining.com), a leader in online OSHA-compliant safety training for construction companies. After determining the program below (3 level options), students begin by taking their online OSHA-compliant training on their own schedule. Once complete, they then contact an Extreme Sandbox site to schedule their practical on-site courses.
– Self-paced, individually scheduled. We offer our services on your schedule, meaning there are no set class start dates/times. We offer these programs for single individuals or can accommodate groups.
– Each program below is designed for a single equipment type. Students can bundle together multiple types and with the self-paced nature of the program, can complete all together if desired. Ask us for bundled pricing.
– Students receive a Certificate of Completion once they finish the course.
Level 1 Operator Course
